Two beautiful and creative souls with the biggest hearts got married this past weekend at Glen Echo Park. The magic of Glen Echo Park matched everything about Linni and Brady. They had their wedding the way THEY wanted and that is what made it so special and unique. From the personalized gifts, the unexpected first look, their vows, a surprise guest during the reception and can’t forget …. THE JUMPSUITS!!! It was all so special.
Angela and Jason wanted their day documented honestly. They wanted photos to reflect their love for: each other, their dogs, friends and family. Which is why…. they hired me! Haha! No fluff. I’d say more but honestly, as a photographic storyteller, the photos tell the story. Scroll through for Angela and Jason’s wedding story.
These two are getting married this fall in Norfolk, Virginia and I am SO stoked. After meeting Angela, her and I began discovering that we are pretty much internet twins, soul sisters, you know the same person; same house slippers and all. So, yes, I was so excited to finally meet her and Jason in person. We started the session at the Richmond Canal Walk mural gallery and just adventured together until the sun set.
This past fall I had the amazing opportunity to associate photograph a wedding for Lia Everette Photography at the stunning Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia. It rained the entire morning and afternoon. We did not let that take away our hopes for an outdoor ceremony. Minutes before we were all to get on the shuttles and head to the ceremony site, it stopped raining!! Not only did it stop raining, the sun came out. It came out almost as a sign or reassurance that it was going to be a beautiful event and that it was.
